Arik Einstein and Uri Zohar
For those who feel attached to Israeli culture of yesteryear, here is a report from Israeli TV about the brit milah of Arik Einstein and Uri Zohar’s great-grandson (hat tip). It is in Hebrew and only viewable on Internet Explorer, or at least I haven’t been able to see it on any other browser. To make a long story short, Uri Zohar in the 1970′s became religious. At around the same time Arik Einstein’s ex-wife, Alona, became religious. Later on, Uri Zohar’s two older sons who also became religious, married the two daughters of Arik and Alona Einstein, who had also become religious.
