Sound Familiar
An army claims to have completed its takeover of a rebellious territory. Tens of thousands have been killed in the last few decades of fighting. Suicide bombers have been used and buses blown up. No reporters have been allowed near the fighting so what has actually happened is unclear. Israel and Gaza? Jibalya? Rafiah? No…the Elephant Pass, Sri Lanka and the Tamil insurgency.
