when we moved into our apt. we bought a washer and dryer from the previous tenant. they broke shortly thereafter, but we didn't get rid of them because i told my wife i would learn appliance repair and fix them. a year later she discovered that the real reason i had not thrown them out is because if used them as storage for photocopies of journal articles i had hoarded. she almost flipped out and needless to say i had the washer and dryer on the curb that night. i'm lucky she let me keep all the journal articles. since then i've taken over closets, kitchen chairs, etc. with stacks of books. my name is ari and i'm a hoarder.
