I'm a fan of Arik Einstein, have some of his albums. I am haunted by Hu Chazar BiTeshuvah on many levels - the backstory about his family, etc. In particular the line that hits me hard is "halachtah li chaveir" - which an Israeli friend told me is an expression used when someone has died. Also, I think that when he says "ve'ito haisha vehayeladim" he is very possibly refering to his own wife and children.

Thanks for the post/info.
