Pshita

I stumbled upon a very nice website which seems to be an attempt at Talmud Study 2.0, Pshita. It includes lots of different material such as links to on-line texts, a dictionary, selections from books and articles, etc. Make sure that you take a look at this alternative graphic presentation of a chapter of Talmud and this cartoon presentation of Hillel and Shammai. Two comments about the web site, first, there is no English so non-Hebrew speakers won’t find much use for it and sometimes using Firefox caused some problems.

    אשמח להפנות את תשומת ליבך למדור שבעיניי הוא עיקר חידושו של האתר. המדור נקרא ‘רשות הרבים’ (והוא בשלב זה לא פועל בפיירפוקס) , והוא מאפשר לגולשים ‘לצטרף’ לשיח התלמודי בעזרת פתקיות שמודבקות על הטקסט התלמודי.
