The Israeli film Ajami has been nominated for an Oscar in the category of Best Foreign Film. The NYT’s recently had a very good write up about the movie. Also see this post. Below are two clips.

Looks like a great “real to life” – for the people of Jaffa and the regions of South Tel-Aviv, this has not to date, been shown! This i hope shows the “unpublished side to life for the most of israelis – jews, arabs and christians – the day to day trying to survive financially in a very tough country” movie. Indeed looking forward to seeing it!! Hope it wins. “MABRUCH” TO YOU ALL!!
