The Koren Talmud Bavli App is going to be available soon, and when it is I will post about it.

The daf yomi price was indeed as you say but they seem to have dropped the price to $6.99.

The new app is magnificent. It offers an exciting and useful way to learn daf, for those of us who can’t just do the daf on our own without crutches. I can’t wait untiltheHebrew app comes out.
Sadly, one can’t use one’s iPad on shabbes.
