Court Case Against Torat ha-Melech
Numerous media outlets are reporting that the Israel Religious Action Center and a number of other groups are petitioning the court and calling for an indictment against the authors of Torat ha-Melech. Most of the news reports are emphasizing the affiliation of the IRAC with the Progressive (Reform) movement in Israel, but Makor Rishon is reporting that numerous Orthodox groups, such as Mercaz Yaakov Herzog and Kolech, are also petitioning the court.
Of the Hebrew reporting at NRG, Ynet, Kipa, Galei Zahal, none reported the involvement of Mercaz Yaakov Herzog or Kolech.

I dont know if these two groups you mention constitute “numerous”, nor do I know if these groups are actually orthodox as you or they claim, particularly concerning “kolech.” But I know this – whatever they were before, if they have actually signed onto this petition they have not only lost whatever legitimacy they may have claimed by associating themselves with “orthodoxy” , but they’ve also lost whatever resect and legitimacy they may have had, period.
