Streit’s Matzos on the move
If someone wanted more proof that the Lower East Side of old is ending, Streit’s Matzos has put their building up for sale. Here is an interesting story about “A Matzo Princess” from the NY Times a few years back. (hat tip)

I visited the Streit’s Matza factory with the first grade in 1955 and came home with a sample box of matza. I can’t believe it’s still there!
